Exploring a Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze
It’s not fall until you’ve gotten lost in a giant corn maze…
Back in the fall of 2014, Jeff, his friend Brian and I gathered into his car, grabbed some Dutch Bros coffee and drove an hour south to Canon City to go to Diana’s Pumpkin Patch & Corn Maze: a magical farm that has a giant corn maze scavenger hunt, huge pumpkin patch, bonfires, corn hole and some of the best homemade fall treats and drinks you can imagine.
Now six years later, we have gone back to that same farm every fall (with the exception of 2020 when it was closed down) and it has become one of our friends’ most beloved traditions! Giant stalks of corn, an array of magical looking pumpkins, hot apple cider, cinnamon sugar almonds, a crackling fire, the crisp Colorado autumn air… what more could you as for!
I also typically bake my famous Pumpkin Bread recipe to eat on the drive out. (happy sighs) Why can’t every day be fall?
